Guess the Google

Need to kill a few minutes? Check out this little game created by Grant Robinson called “Guess the Google“. The idea is a collage of images culled from Google Images is displayed and you have 20 seconds to guess what the keyword was that made up the image. You get points for a correct answer as well as for how fast you get it right. Your score is tallied up through 10 images, and if it ranks, your name displays in a Top 10. My fastest time was :02 seconds, and I finished with 240 or 250 something.

Fun and surprisingly addicting.

The New Blog

Well, welcome to the new blog! I’ve been wanting to move to a new host for some time now, but never had wanted to take the time. Now that I seem to have a little “extra time” I figured I would make the move. Beware though, my goals for this blog are a little more ambitious.

I want to post more often. That shouldn’t be too difficult as I was averaging about a post every four months before. And I want to make this more of a “photo blog”, where hopefully every post or story is accentuated with a photograph. Or more likely, the post is because of the photograph(s). Being in between jobs has not been a lot of fun, but it has provided me time to invest in taking pictures, and I’d like for this blog to be a place to showcase some photos and tell a story or two for all of my reader.

And being a techie, “gadget guru”, lover of pop-culture, and unemployed web surfing aficionado; I’ll be sure to point out some of the finer things in life you may be missing, like must-see TV, must-read websites, or must-have gadgets (that I can’t afford to have myself).

So stay with me, unlike the last blog, with this one, it may be hard to keep up.
